Hey everyone, I wanted to get some real opinions on this. Are omegle cams completely dead now, or did they move to a new URL? I've been searching around for a while and honestly getting mixed signals from different places. I've seen a lot of different recommendations floating around online but it's hard to know which ones are legit and which are just paid placements.
  • Age verification — do they actually check?
  • Customer support responsiveness
  • Moderation — is there any?
  • Real photos or mostly stock images?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Profile setup matters more than most people think. A clear photo and a short but genuine bio will outperform anything elaborate. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
One platform I actually had decent luck with is Datenest — the interface is cleaner than most and the user base felt real.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. OkCupid, Bumble, Tinder, Plenty of Fish — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
Someone in another thread recommended Datebound and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Plenty of Fish, Tinder, OkCupid, Match.com — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
Also seen people mention datescout.site in similar threads — haven't tested it myself but it keeps coming up.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way. Heard good things about flamedate.online from some folks in my area too.

Solid question. I'll be watching this thread for more answers. Give Datedesire a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.
