This has been on my mind and I figured this was the right place to ask. Are real local dating apps actually better than the global giants?
The algorithm question bugs me a lot. Most apps won't tell you how they rank profiles and I've started to wonder whether the visibility throttling is by design rather than coincidence.
Location matters way more than the reviews mention. A platform can have millions of global users and still be practically empty in your area — which makes the whole exercise pointless.
- Is there genuine moderation?
- How active is the local user base?
- Does the free tier allow real messaging?
- What does the privacy policy actually cover?
