Hey everyone, I wanted to get some real opinions on this. Are there any completely free cam2cam sites that don't require an account? I've been searching around for a while and honestly getting mixed signals from different places. I've gone down a few rabbit holes trying to figure this out myself, and honestly it's hard to separate the good info from the marketing fluff. Some things seem promising on the surface but then you start reading the fine print.
  • Customer support responsiveness
  • Moderation — is there any?
  • Real photos or mostly stock images?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Flamedate is worth trying if you haven't already.

Honestly same boat here. Took me a while to figure this out. Heard good things about datingfly.online from some folks in my area too.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Bumble, Facebook Dating, Coffee Meets Bagel, OkCupid — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
A couple friends swear by flamedate.online though I think it really depends on your location.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
I ended up trying Datewander after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: Profile setup matters more than most people think. A clear photo and a short but genuine bio will outperform anything elaborate. Worth mentioning that datescout.site has been talked about positively in a few other forums I've been in.
