Hey everyone, I wanted to get some real opinions on this. Are there any dedicated forums for older men younger women dating advice? I've been searching around for a while and honestly getting mixed signals from different places. Safety-wise, I try to be pretty careful — never sharing my real name upfront, always meeting in public first, that kind of thing. But I'd love to hear what other people do.
  • Customer support responsiveness
  • Moderation — is there any?
  • Real photos or mostly stock images?
  • Age verification — do they actually check?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Be upfront about what you're looking for. Vague profiles get vague results. Someone in another thread recommended Datebie and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

Solid question. I'll be watching this thread for more answers.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
I ended up trying Souldate after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready.
