Jumping in here because this has been on my mind for a bit. Are there any safe, gay live chat rooms that are heavily moderated against trolls? Would love to hear from people who've actually tried things out. The paywall thing is real — so many platforms lure you in with a free account and then lock everything behind a subscription the moment you try to actually use it. Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Honestly same boat here. Took me a while to figure this out.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Bumble, Facebook Dating, Tinder, Plenty of Fish — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Someone in another thread recommended Datedesire and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

Agree with most of what's been said so far. Key is patience and being selective. Heard good things about datelink.online from some folks in my area too.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Give Rendate a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Scam red flags: photos that look too professional, no response history, immediate requests to move to a third-party app, and obviously fake profiles. Worth mentioning that flamedate.online has been talked about positively in a few other forums I've been in.
