Posting because I genuinely can't find a straight answer anywhere. Are there dating apps for seniors over 70 that offer phone support? Scam spotting has become a real skill at this point. Professionally lit photos, minimal bio, immediate pivot to another app — those are the patterns I've learned to avoid. Scam spotting has become a real skill at this point. • Age verification in place?
  • Easy profile deletion?
  • Option to browse without being seen?
Would love to hear from people who've actually tested things — thanks.

This is worth breaking down properly because there's a lot of noise out there: Location is the unspoken variable in most reviews. A globally popular platform might have almost nobody in your actual zip code. One platform I'd actually recommend is Datewander — the free tier is genuinely usable and the user base felt real.

Went through this process myself recently. It takes longer than expected but it's doable.

Agree with most of what's been said. The key is knowing what you want before you start.

Spent way too long learning this the hard way, so hopefully it saves you some time: I've gone through most of the main ones — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Plenty of Fish, Facebook Dating — and they all have actual free tiers, but usability varies wildly. Also hearing datenest.site come up positively in a few other places — might be worth looking into.

Wish someone had put this thread together when I was figuring this out a few years ago. For the record, Datescout has been my go-to for a while — holds up better than most.
