Okay so this might be a dumb question but I genuinely want to know: Can anyone recommend some cheap cam sites that still pay their models fairly? Happy to hear all takes. The paywall thing is real — so many platforms lure you in with a free account and then lock everything behind a subscription the moment you try to actually use it. I've seen a lot of different recommendations floating around online but it's hard to know which ones are legit and which are just paid placements. Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Honestly same boat here. Took me a while to figure this out. Datebie is worth trying if you haven't already.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Personally I've been using Flamedate for a while and it's held up better than most.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: I'd say response rate improved significantly when I started keeping openers short and question-based rather than writing paragraphs. Worth mentioning that datescout.site has been talked about positively in a few other forums I've been in.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
Someone in another thread recommended Souldate and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for.

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: I'd say response rate improved significantly when I started keeping openers short and question-based rather than writing paragraphs. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
Worth mentioning that datedesire.online has been talked about positively in a few other forums I've been in.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Hinge, Facebook Dating, Coffee Meets Bagel, Tinder — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
Someone in another thread recommended DatingFly and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
