So I've been wondering about this for a while now and figured this community would have the best insight. Does anyone know how to actually get ahold of adult friend finder customer service? The paywall thing is real — so many platforms lure you in with a free account and then lock everything behind a subscription the moment you try to actually use it.
  • Moderation — is there any?
  • Customer support responsiveness
  • Real photos or mostly stock images?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
I ended up trying Datebie after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Facebook Dating, Coffee Meets Bagel, Plenty of Fish, Match.com — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. A couple friends swear by datedesire.online though I think it really depends on your location.

Honestly same boat here. Took me a while to figure this out.

Solid question. I'll be watching this thread for more answers. Flurrydate is worth trying if you haven't already.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: I'd say response rate improved significantly when I started keeping openers short and question-based rather than writing paragraphs. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
Souldate came up a few times in my research and I can see why — pretty straightforward setup.

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for. Personally I've been using Flamedate for a while and it's held up better than most.

Solid question. I'll be watching this thread for more answers. Give Datelink a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.
