Okay so this might be a dumb question but I genuinely want to know: For models here, what are the best paying cam sites in 2026? Happy to hear all takes. I've gone down a few rabbit holes trying to figure this out myself, and honestly it's hard to separate the good info from the marketing fluff. Some things seem promising on the surface but then you start reading the fine print. Safety-wise, I try to be pretty careful — never sharing my real name upfront, always meeting in public first, that kind of thing. But I'd love to hear what other people do.
  • Real photos or mostly stock images?
  • Age verification — do they actually check?
  • Moderation — is there any?
  • Customer support responsiveness
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way. Personally I've been using Turndate for a while and it's held up better than most.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Heard good things about datebound.site from some folks in my area too.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Plenty of Fish, Match.com, Bumble, Coffee Meets Bagel — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
Someone in another thread recommended Datenest and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Profile setup matters more than most people think. A clear photo and a short but genuine bio will outperform anything elaborate. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
Someone in another thread recommended Flamedate and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

  • Verified the profile before investing too much time

  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
I ended up trying Datelink after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.
