Jumping in here because this has been on my mind for a bit. Has anyone ever used sexed chat for actual sex education and advice? Would love to hear from people who've actually tried things out. Privacy is a big concern for me personally. I don't want my info getting sold or my phone blowing up with spam after I sign up somewhere. Anyone had issues with that? I've seen a lot of different recommendations floating around online but it's hard to know which ones are legit and which are just paid placements.
  • Are the profiles mostly real or bot-heavy?
  • Can I report bad actors easily?
  • How active is the user base in my area?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference. Souldate came up a few times in my research and I can see why — pretty straightforward setup.

Good thread. I was wondering about this exact thing. Heard good things about datebound.site from some folks in my area too.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: I'd say response rate improved significantly when I started keeping openers short and question-based rather than writing paragraphs. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
Also seen people mention datenest.site in similar threads — haven't tested it myself but it keeps coming up.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way. Datebound is worth trying if you haven't already.
