Hey everyone, I wanted to get some real opinions on this. How do I fix the camera permissions for strilchat? I've been searching around for a while and honestly getting mixed signals from different places. I've seen a lot of different recommendations floating around online but it's hard to know which ones are legit and which are just paid placements. Thanks in advance.

Solid question. I'll be watching this thread for more answers. Heard good things about souldate.site from some folks in my area too.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: Scam red flags: photos that look too professional, no response history, immediate requests to move to a third-party app, and obviously fake profiles. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
I ended up trying Luvdate after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: I'd say response rate improved significantly when I started keeping openers short and question-based rather than writing paragraphs.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for. Give Datenest a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Be upfront about what you're looking for. Vague profiles get vague results. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot

Someone in another thread recommended Datebie and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready.
