Hey everyone, I wanted to get some real opinions on this. How do you filter for English speakers on video chat random women sites? I've been searching around for a while and honestly getting mixed signals from different places. Safety-wise, I try to be pretty careful — never sharing my real name upfront, always meeting in public first, that kind of thing. But I'd love to hear what other people do. Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Solid question. I'll be watching this thread for more answers. Heard good things about turndate.site from some folks in my area too.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference. Datedesire came up a few times in my research and I can see why — pretty straightforward setup.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Scam red flags: photos that look too professional, no response history, immediate requests to move to a third-party app, and obviously fake profiles.

Agree with most of what's been said so far. Key is patience and being selective. Personally I've been using Ezhookups for a while and it's held up better than most.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for. Heard good things about flamedate.online from some folks in my area too.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Scam red flags: photos that look too professional, no response history, immediate requests to move to a third-party app, and obviously fake profiles. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
Someone in another thread recommended Datenest and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Plenty of Fish, OkCupid, Tinder, Facebook Dating — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
I ended up trying Datebound after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.
