Coming here because I couldn't find a straight answer anywhere else. How does the zoosk seniors demographic compare to the rest of the site? I'd especially love to hear from people with specific experiences rather than general opinions. Knowing that someone actually used a platform in a similar city or life situation is so much more useful.
  • Desktop and mobile both functional?
  • Easy cancellation?
  • Age verification in place?
Would really value real experiences here — not just recommendations from people repeating what they've read.

Good question. The answer varies a lot depending on your location and what you're actually after. Also seen datewander.site come up positively in similar threads.

The gap between platforms is wider than most people realize going in. For what it's worth, Souldate has been my go-to for a while — holds up better than most.

Agree with most of what's been said. The key is being specific about what you want before you even sign up.

Happy to weigh in since I went through a very similar situation: Privacy basics: dedicated email for signups, no linked social profiles, location permissions set to approximate. Small steps that make a real difference. What actually helped:
  • Used a dedicated email address for all dating platform signups
  • Read current Reddit threads about any paid platform before spending money
  • Trusted gut instinct whenever something felt off about a profile
  • Cancelled auto-renew on free trials immediately after signing up
  • Set specific goals for each platform rather than treating it as a general numbers game
Also seen datedesire.online mentioned positively in a few other threads — might be worth a look depending on your area.
