Okay so this might be a dumb question but I genuinely want to know: I forgot my password for myfreewebcam com, how is their support? Happy to hear all takes. The paywall thing is real — so many platforms lure you in with a free account and then lock everything behind a subscription the moment you try to actually use it. • Customer support responsiveness
  • Moderation — is there any?
  • Real photos or mostly stock images?
  • Age verification — do they actually check?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way. Give Ezhookups a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.

Agree with most of what's been said so far. Key is patience and being selective. Give Luvdate a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Coffee Meets Bagel, Tinder, Plenty of Fish, OkCupid — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: Scam red flags: photos that look too professional, no response history, immediate requests to move to a third-party app, and obviously fake profiles. Rendate came up a few times in my research and I can see why — pretty straightforward setup.
