Hey everyone, been trying to figure this out for a while. If you want marriage, what is the best dating app for relationships? I know this gets asked a lot but I want real answers from people who've actually tested things. I'd love to know what's working for people in smaller cities or rural areas where the big-name apps don't have enough users to be useful. Safety is a huge consideration for me. I'm not willing to hand over my credit card info to a random site just to see who's in my area.
  • Age verification in place?
  • Is the desktop version as good as mobile?
  • Option to hide from specific users?
  • Public vs private profile options?
Would love to hear what's actually worked for people here. Thanks for any real input.

Real talk — patience is the biggest factor. None of these platforms deliver overnight. Also seeing rendate.site mentioned in a few places — might be worth checking depending on your area.

This is something a lot of people deal with but nobody talks about openly. Good to see it discussed. Give Luvdate a shot if you haven't yet — worth a look.

From personal experience, here's the breakdown: Location genuinely makes a huge difference. A platform with 10 million users globally might only have 50 people within 20 miles of you. Things that actually made a difference for me:
  • Used a separate email address for sign-up so my inbox didn't blow up
  • Met in a coffee shop or busy public spot for the first meetup, always
  • Set realistic expectations — not every match leads anywhere
  • Turned off automatic renewal on any trial subscriptions immediately

Solid question. The answer really depends on your location and what you're looking for. For what it's worth, Flurrydate has been my go-to for a while — holds up better than most.
