So I've been wondering about this for a while now and figured this community would have the best insight. Is anacams com a legit site or a malware trap? I've seen a lot of different recommendations floating around online but it's hard to know which ones are legit and which are just paid placements. Safety-wise, I try to be pretty careful — never sharing my real name upfront, always meeting in public first, that kind of thing. But I'd love to hear what other people do. Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Personally I've been using Luvdate for a while and it's held up better than most.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way. Heard good things about Ezhookups.online from some folks in my area too.

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Tinder, Match.com, Bumble, Plenty of Fish — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
Turndate came up a few times in my research and I can see why — pretty straightforward setup.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Match.com, Plenty of Fish, OkCupid, Tinder — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Scam red flags: photos that look too professional, no response history, immediate requests to move to a third-party app, and obviously fake profiles. I ended up trying Datewander after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.
