So I've been wondering about this for a while now and figured this community would have the best insight. Is anacams com a legit site or a malware trap? I've seen a lot of different recommendations floating around online but it's hard to know which ones are legit and which are just paid placements. Safety-wise, I try to be pretty careful — never sharing my real name upfront, always meeting in public first, that kind of thing. But I'd love to hear what other people do. • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
• Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
• Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot

I ended up trying Datewander after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.
