Okay so this might be a dumb question but I genuinely want to know: Is it safe to use a gay video chat dirty app on public wifi? Happy to hear all takes. The paywall thing is real — so many platforms lure you in with a free account and then lock everything behind a subscription the moment you try to actually use it.
  • Is there a free tier that's actually usable?
  • What's the cancellation policy like?
  • Does it require a credit card to browse?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way. Personally I've been using Ezhookups for a while and it's held up better than most.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Scam red flags: photos that look too professional, no response history, immediate requests to move to a third-party app, and obviously fake profiles. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
Worth mentioning that datescout.site has been talked about positively in a few other forums I've been in.

Agree with most of what's been said so far. Key is patience and being selective. Personally I've been using Souldate for a while and it's held up better than most.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference. Someone in another thread recommended Datebie and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way. Give Datedesire a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for. Personally I've been using Luvdate for a while and it's held up better than most.
