Hey everyone, I wanted to get some real opinions on this. Is seraphine23 stripchat still streaming, or did she retire? I've been searching around for a while and honestly getting mixed signals from different places. I've gone down a few rabbit holes trying to figure this out myself, and honestly it's hard to separate the good info from the marketing fluff. Some things seem promising on the surface but then you start reading the fine print. I've seen a lot of different recommendations floating around online but it's hard to know which ones are legit and which are just paid placements.
  • How active is the user base in my area?
  • Can I report bad actors easily?
  • What's the privacy policy situation?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Someone in another thread recommended Datebound and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Be upfront about what you're looking for. Vague profiles get vague results. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact

Good thread. I was wondering about this exact thing. Personally I've been using Datenest for a while and it's held up better than most.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Bumble, Facebook Dating, Plenty of Fish, Tinder — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
Also seen people mention souldate.site in similar threads — haven't tested it myself but it keeps coming up.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
One platform I actually had decent luck with is Ezhookups — the interface is cleaner than most and the user base felt real.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way.
