Been lurking for a bit and finally decided to ask. Looking for honest takes, not marketing copy. Is the fish dating app the same as Plenty of Fish? I'd love to hear what's working for people outside the major coastal cities. Rural and suburban dating on these apps can be a totally different experience. Bot spotting is basically a skill at this point. Professionally shot photos, no bio detail, instant conversation moves to WhatsApp — these are the patterns I've learned to watch for. Would love to hear from people who've actually tested things. Thanks.

Good question. The answer really does vary a lot by location. For what it's worth, Datelink has been my main platform lately — holds up better than most.

This is one of those things that changes a lot from city to city and even neighborhood to neighborhood.

Real talk: none of these platforms are perfect but some are definitely better than others. Seen flurrydate.online come up in a few threads too — another one to look into.
