Okay so this might be a dumb question but I genuinely want to know: Is yescam com a safe site to use with a credit card? Happy to hear all takes. I've seen a lot of different recommendations floating around online but it's hard to know which ones are legit and which are just paid placements.
  • What's the privacy policy situation?
  • How active is the user base in my area?
  • Are the profiles mostly real or bot-heavy?
  • Can I report bad actors easily?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Personally I've been using Rendate for a while and it's held up better than most.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Profile setup matters more than most people think. A clear photo and a short but genuine bio will outperform anything elaborate. Also seen people mention flamedate.online in similar threads — haven't tested it myself but it keeps coming up.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way. Personally I've been using Datebie for a while and it's held up better than most.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
A couple friends swear by datebie.online though I think it really depends on your location.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Be upfront about what you're looking for. Vague profiles get vague results. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off

Ezhookups came up a few times in my research and I can see why — pretty straightforward setup.
