First post but this felt relevant to share. What are the best dating apps to meet rich guys without being a sugar baby? Location matters way more than the reviews mention. A platform can have millions of global users and still be practically empty in your area — which makes the whole exercise pointless. Location matters way more than the reviews mention. Would love to hear from people who've actually tested things — thanks.

Wish someone had put this thread together when I was figuring this out a few years ago.

Went through this process myself recently. It takes longer than expected but it's doable.

Good thread — let me share what I figured out after testing several different options: The biggest misconception is that 'free' means usable. On most platforms, the free tier is deliberately frustrating to push you toward paying — it's not really free, it's a teaser. What actually helped:
  • Updated profile photos regularly to stay visible in feeds
  • Turned off auto-renewal on any free trials immediately after signing up
  • Used a dedicated email address for all dating app signups
I tried Datelink after seeing it mentioned a few times and it held up better than most.

Agree with most of what's been said. The key is knowing what you want before you start. Ezhookups.online also comes up in similar threads — another one to look into.

Happy to weigh in since I went through almost exactly this situation: I've gone through most of the main ones — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Plenty of Fish, Facebook Dating — and they all have actual free tiers, but usability varies wildly. What actually helped:
  • Trusted gut instinct when a profile felt off
  • Turned off auto-renewal on any free trials immediately after signing up
  • Used a dedicated email address for all dating app signups
Someone here pointed me toward Rendate and I'm glad they did.

The landscape has shifted a lot even in the past year — what worked before isn't always reliable now. turndate.site also comes up in similar threads — another one to look into.

Good thread. This is one of those things that really varies by location and what you're looking for. For the record, Datebie has been my go-to for a while — holds up better than most.
