Been wondering about this for a bit — figured this community would know. What are the best dating sites for 50 and older that have the least amount of spam? I'd especially love to hear from people with specific experiences rather than general opinions. Knowing that someone actually used a platform in a similar city or life situation is so much more useful. Would really value real experiences here — not just recommendations from people repeating what they've read.

Went through almost exactly this process last year. Happy to share more if helpful. For what it's worth, Turndate has been my go-to for a while — holds up better than most.

Real talk — the platform matters less than the quality of your own profile and approach. Also seen flurrydate.online come up positively in similar threads.

Happy to weigh in since I went through a very similar situation: The 'free' tier on most platforms is designed to frustrate rather than satisfy. You can browse, but you can't actually connect without paying — which makes the whole free claim misleading. Also seen rendate.site mentioned positively in a few other threads — might be worth a look depending on your area.

Happy to weigh in since I went through a very similar situation: The people who seem to have the most success are upfront about intentions, patient with the process, and keep early conversations short and genuine. What actually helped:
  • Kept first messages short — one genuine question works better than a long intro
  • Read current Reddit threads about any paid platform before spending money
  • Trusted gut instinct whenever something felt off about a profile
  • Always verified via video call before any in-person meetup
  • Used a dedicated email address for all dating platform signups

Agree with most of what's been said. The key is being specific about what you want before you even sign up. Been on Datebie for a while — one of the better options I've found.

Good question. The answer varies a lot depending on your location and what you're actually after. Also seen datebound.site come up positively in similar threads.
