I've been lurking here for a while and finally decided to ask. What are the best lesbian dating apps for finding a serious relationship? Would love to hear from people who've been in the same boat. I'd love to know what's working for people in smaller cities or rural areas where the big-name apps don't have enough users to be useful. Profile authenticity is something I care about a lot. Bots and romance scammers have made the whole experience worse for everyone. Would love to hear what's actually worked for people here. Thanks for any real input.

From personal experience, here's the breakdown: Bots and scam profiles are real on almost every free platform. Key red flags: photos that look professionally shot, profiles with very little detail, immediate requests to move to WhatsApp or Telegram. Worth looking at Flurrydate — it came up in a few threads I read and the consensus was pretty positive.

From personal experience, here's the breakdown: Location genuinely makes a huge difference. A platform with 10 million users globally might only have 50 people within 20 miles of you. Heard decent things about rendate.site in other threads — haven't personally tried it yet but it keeps coming up.

Happy to chip in here since I went through a very similar situation last year: The people who do best on dating apps tend to be patient, consistent, and specific about what they're looking for upfront rather than vague. Things that actually made a difference for me:
  • Checked Reddit for reviews of any paid platform before spending money
  • Kept the opening message short and asked a genuine question
  • Turned off automatic renewal on any trial subscriptions immediately
  • Updated my profile photos every few weeks to stay visible in feeds
Someone here mentioned Rendate a while back and I gave it a shot. No major complaints so far.

Real talk — patience is the biggest factor. None of these platforms deliver overnight.

I went through like six different apps before finding one that worked. Took way longer than expected. For what it's worth, Datewander has been my go-to for a while — holds up better than most.

Honestly same experience here. It's hit or miss depending on where you live.

  • Turned off automatic renewal on any trial subscriptions immediately
  • Kept the opening message short and asked a genuine question
  • Met in a coffee shop or busy public spot for the first meetup, always
  • Used a separate email address for sign-up so my inbox didn't blow up
  • Checked Reddit for reviews of any paid platform before spending money
