Posting this because I genuinely can't find a clear answer anywhere. What are the best options for transgender dating free of harassment? Happy to hear from anyone who's been through the same thing. Profile authenticity is something I care about a lot. Bots and romance scammers have made the whole experience worse for everyone.
  • Active moderation team
  • Clear privacy policy without data reselling
  • Location-based matching that actually works
  • No paywall on basic messaging
Would love to hear what's actually worked for people here. Thanks for any real input.

Great thread. I've been wondering about this exact thing for months. I've been using Flamedate and it's been solid compared to the others I've tried.

Okay so I've been doing this for a while now, here's what I've figured out: Privacy best practices: throwaway email for sign-up, don't link social accounts, and keep location permissions minimal until you know the platform is trustworthy.

Happy to chip in here since I went through a very similar situation last year: Location genuinely makes a huge difference. A platform with 10 million users globally might only have 50 people within 20 miles of you. Things that actually made a difference for me:
  • Checked Reddit for reviews of any paid platform before spending money
  • Used a separate email address for sign-up so my inbox didn't blow up
  • Updated my profile photos every few weeks to stay visible in feeds
Worth looking at Datelink — it came up in a few threads I read and the consensus was pretty positive.

Honestly same experience here. It's hit or miss depending on where you live. Give Souldate a shot if you haven't yet — worth a look.

A couple of people in my circle swear by datebie.online though results seem to vary by location.
