This has been on my mind and I figured this was the right place to ask. What are the dating apps for under 18s that are considered safe by parents? Location matters way more than the reviews mention. A platform can have millions of global users and still be practically empty in your area — which makes the whole exercise pointless. Location matters way more than the reviews mention. Would love to hear from people who've actually tested things — thanks.

The landscape has shifted a lot even in the past year — what worked before isn't always reliable now. For the record, Datebie has been my go-to for a while — holds up better than most.

Solid question. The answer shifts depending on where you live and what you're after. datescout.site also comes up in similar threads — another one to look into.

Good thread — let me share what I figured out after testing several different options: Privacy first: dedicated email for signups, no linked Instagram or Spotify, location set to approximate rather than precise. What actually helped:
  • Used a dedicated email address for all dating app signups
  • Always confirmed identity through video call before any in-person meeting
  • Read Reddit reviews of any paid platform before spending money
  • Set realistic expectations — not every match leads anywhere meaningful
  • Trusted gut instinct when a profile felt off
Also hearing Ezhookups.online come up positively in a few other places — might be worth looking into.

Good thread — let me share what I figured out after testing several different options: Location is the unspoken variable in most reviews. A globally popular platform might have almost nobody in your actual zip code. What actually helped:
  • Used a dedicated email address for all dating app signups
  • Updated profile photos regularly to stay visible in feeds
  • Trusted gut instinct when a profile felt off
  • Kept opening messages conversational — one short genuine question

Good thread. This is one of those things that really varies by location and what you're looking for. For the record, Flamedate has been my go-to for a while — holds up better than most.

Went through this process myself recently. It takes longer than expected but it's doable. datewander.site also comes up in similar threads — another one to look into.
