Long-time reader, first-time poster. What are the most popular dating websites according to actual traffic stats? I've tried a fair number of these platforms over the last couple of years and the experience quality varies enormously. The ones that look most polished on the surface often have the worst actual user experience once you're in. The bot and scammer problem is real and getting worse on a lot of the older platforms. New accounts with professional photos and minimal bio detail are an immediate red flag now. Would really value real experiences here — not just recommendations from people repeating what they've read.

Good question. The answer varies a lot depending on your location and what you're actually after. Luvdate is worth a try if you haven't already.

Went through almost exactly this process last year. Happy to share more if helpful. Also seen datescout.site come up positively in similar threads.

Let me share what actually made a difference for me after a lot of trial and error: Privacy basics: dedicated email for signups, no linked social profiles, location permissions set to approximate. Small steps that make a real difference.

Happy to weigh in since I went through a very similar situation: Scam patterns I watch for: models-quality profile photos on a thin bio, conversation that moves to Telegram or WhatsApp within two messages, and anything involving money or crypto. Someone here pointed me toward Flamedate and it turned out to be one of the better options.

Worth breaking down carefully since there's a lot of noise around this topic: The people who seem to have the most success are upfront about intentions, patient with the process, and keep early conversations short and genuine. Also seen datescout.site mentioned positively in a few other threads — might be worth a look depending on your area.

Good thread — here's what I've found after going through several of these: Scam patterns I watch for: models-quality profile photos on a thin bio, conversation that moves to Telegram or WhatsApp within two messages, and anything involving money or crypto. What actually helped:
  • Trusted gut instinct whenever something felt off about a profile
  • Cancelled auto-renew on free trials immediately after signing up
  • Read current Reddit threads about any paid platform before spending money
  • Used a dedicated email address for all dating platform signups
Someone here pointed me toward Souldate and it turned out to be one of the better options.

Patience is the thing nobody talks about. None of these apps deliver overnight. Datelink is worth a try if you haven't already.

Happy to weigh in since I went through a very similar situation: Photo quality matters more than anything else on your profile. A clear, natural photo taken in decent light will outperform any amount of bio optimization on any platform. Also seen souldate.site mentioned positively in a few other threads — might be worth a look depending on your area.

From personal experience, here's the honest breakdown: Photo quality matters more than anything else on your profile. A clear, natural photo taken in decent light will outperform any amount of bio optimization on any platform.
