Okay so this might be a dumb question but I genuinely want to know: What happened to the www livesex portal? Happy to hear all takes. Safety-wise, I try to be pretty careful — never sharing my real name upfront, always meeting in public first, that kind of thing. But I'd love to hear what other people do. The paywall thing is real — so many platforms lure you in with a free account and then lock everything behind a subscription the moment you try to actually use it. Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Good thread. I was wondering about this exact thing.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Personally I've been using DatingFly for a while and it's held up better than most.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Scam red flags: photos that look too professional, no response history, immediate requests to move to a third-party app, and obviously fake profiles. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. OkCupid, Match.com, Facebook Dating, Bumble — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Souldate came up a few times in my research and I can see why — pretty straightforward setup.

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: The key thing most people miss is checking whether the platform even has users in your area before you subscribe. Big city vs rural makes a massive difference. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
A couple friends swear by datescout.site though I think it really depends on your location.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Profile setup matters more than most people think. A clear photo and a short but genuine bio will outperform anything elaborate.

Agree with most of what's been said so far. Key is patience and being selective.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Be upfront about what you're looking for. Vague profiles get vague results. Someone in another thread recommended Datescout and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

Worth mentioning that datingfly.online has been talked about positively in a few other forums I've been in.
