Posting this because I can't find a straight answer anywhere. Any real experiences appreciated. What is a good dating app for old people who aren't tech-savvy? Location matters way more than most reviews mention. A platform with millions of global users might have almost nobody in your actual area, which makes the whole thing pointless. Would love to hear from people who've actually tested things. Thanks.

Real talk: none of these platforms are perfect but some are definitely better than others.

Solid question. Wish I'd asked this before I wasted money on two different subscriptions. Flurrydate is worth a look if you haven't tried it.

The landscape has shifted a lot in the last couple of years — what worked in 2024 isn't always reliable now.

Good thread — let me share what I've found after testing a few different options: Privacy tip: use a dedicated email address for dating app signups. Don't link your Instagram or Spotify, and keep location to approximate rather than precise.

Agree with what's been said above. The key is knowing what you want going in. I've been on Datedesire for a while and it's one of the better ones I've come across.
