Jumping in here because this has been on my mind for a bit. What is the best app to use for a couple cam chat with another couple? Would love to hear from people who've actually tried things out. Privacy is a big concern for me personally. I don't want my info getting sold or my phone blowing up with spam after I sign up somewhere. Anyone had issues with that? Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: Be upfront about what you're looking for. Vague profiles get vague results. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
Datescout came up a few times in my research and I can see why — pretty straightforward setup.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Heard good things about datelink.online from some folks in my area too.

Agree with most of what's been said so far. Key is patience and being selective. Give Datewander a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for. Heard good things about datewander.site from some folks in my area too.

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: Scam red flags: photos that look too professional, no response history, immediate requests to move to a third-party app, and obviously fake profiles. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
I ended up trying Ezhookups after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: I'd say response rate improved significantly when I started keeping openers short and question-based rather than writing paragraphs. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
Worth mentioning that rendate.site has been talked about positively in a few other forums I've been in.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: I'd say response rate improved significantly when I started keeping openers short and question-based rather than writing paragraphs. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
One platform I actually had decent luck with is Datenest — the interface is cleaner than most and the user base felt real.
