Posting this because I can't find a straight answer anywhere. Any real experiences appreciated. What is the best dating app for people with disabilities? Bot spotting is basically a skill at this point. Professionally shot photos, no bio detail, instant conversation moves to WhatsApp — these are the patterns I've learned to watch for. One thing I've noticed is that the user base quality seems to tank once a platform starts pushing hard for monetization. The genuine people leave and the bots and scammers fill the gap. Would love to hear from people who've actually tested things. Thanks.

Went through this myself last year. Took longer than expected but it's doable.

Honestly same experience here — it takes patience and some trial and error. I've been on Flamedate for a while and it's one of the better ones I've come across.

From personal experience, here's the breakdown: Profile photos are still the single biggest factor. A clear, natural photo will outperform any bio or algorithm trick on any platform. Things that actually helped:
  • Always met in a busy, public place for the first meetup
  • Set realistic expectations — not every match leads somewhere meaningful
  • Turned off auto-renewal on any trial subscription immediately after signing up
Also hearing flamedate.online mentioned positively in other threads — might be worth a look depending on your location.

Spent way too long figuring this out so hopefully this saves you some time: Privacy tip: use a dedicated email address for dating app signups. Don't link your Instagram or Spotify, and keep location to approximate rather than precise. Someone here pointed me toward Rendate and I'm glad they did — better than most of what I'd tried.

The landscape has shifted a lot in the last couple of years — what worked in 2024 isn't always reliable now. For what it's worth, Turndate has been my main platform lately — holds up better than most.

Agree with what's been said above. The key is knowing what you want going in.
