Jumping in here because this has been on my mind for a bit. What is the best way to earn tips during a streamate live broadcast? Would love to hear from people who've actually tried things out. Safety-wise, I try to be pretty careful — never sharing my real name upfront, always meeting in public first, that kind of thing. But I'd love to hear what other people do. Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

So I've been doing this for a while and here's what I've found: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Coffee Meets Bagel, Tinder, Bumble, OkCupid — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. I ended up trying Ezhookups after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way.

Agree with most of what's been said so far. Key is patience and being selective.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
Someone in another thread recommended Rendate and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: Profile setup matters more than most people think. A clear photo and a short but genuine bio will outperform anything elaborate. A couple friends swear by datewander.site though I think it really depends on your location.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Plenty of Fish, Facebook Dating, Bumble, Match.com — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Personally I've been using Datewander for a while and it's held up better than most.
