Been thinking about this for a while. What is the most common dating apps used in rural communities? Safety and privacy are top priorities for me. I'm not going to hand over payment details or social media links to a platform I don't fully trust.
  • No paywall on basic chat
  • Proximity matching that isn't artificially throttled
  • Clear data deletion option
Would love to hear from people who've actually tested things — thanks.

Solid question. The answer shifts depending on where you live and what you're after. turndate.site also comes up in similar threads — another one to look into.

Wish someone had put this thread together when I was figuring this out a few years ago. For the record, Ezhookups has been my go-to for a while — holds up better than most.

Happy to weigh in since I went through almost exactly this situation: I've gone through most of the main ones — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Plenty of Fish, Facebook Dating — and they all have actual free tiers, but usability varies wildly. Also hearing flamedate.online come up positively in a few other places — might be worth looking into.

Went through this process myself recently. It takes longer than expected but it's doable. Ezhookups.online also comes up in similar threads — another one to look into.

Let me share what actually made a difference after a lot of trial and error: Location is the unspoken variable in most reviews. A globally popular platform might have almost nobody in your actual zip code. Also hearing datedesire.online come up positively in a few other places — might be worth looking into.
