Jumping in here because this has been on my mind for a bit. Why are so many adult chatrooms full of automated spam bots these days? Would love to hear from people who've actually tried things out. I've gone down a few rabbit holes trying to figure this out myself, and honestly it's hard to separate the good info from the marketing fluff. Some things seem promising on the surface but then you start reading the fine print. Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I had the same question a few months back. It gets easier once you know what to look for. Give Luvdate a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: Privacy-wise, use a throwaway email for signups. Don't link your social accounts and keep location permissions turned off until you're ready. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform

Happy to share some thoughts since I went through this process last year: Be upfront about what you're looking for. Vague profiles get vague results. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
Souldate came up a few times in my research and I can see why — pretty straightforward setup.
