Editorial Policy
How the written content on RuneDate is produced, checked and corrected.
What we publish
Two kinds of content. Editorial guidance written by the site team: city pages, the guides under Guides, and the topic pages. And member content: everything on the community boards, written by the people posting it.
How we handle local pages
City pages describe how dating works on this platform in that location and give general advice that applies there. We deliberately do not invent local specifics — neighbourhood names, venues, demographic claims — because inventing checkable detail is how directories become untrustworthy. Where we state a fact, it is one we can support.
Community content
Board posts are member opinions and personal experience, not our recommendations. Members disagree with each other, and we leave those disagreements in place. We remove spam, harassment and anything illegal.
Commercial relationships
Some outbound links are commercial. Those carry rel="sponsored". Links posted
by members carry rel="ugc". A commercial relationship never buys a better
position in our guidance, and we do not remove criticism of a platform because it pays.
Corrections
If something is wrong, tell us at [email protected] with the URL. We fix errors rather than quietly deleting pages.
Review
Guides and city pages are reviewed periodically. Community threads carry their own last-activity date so you can judge how current a discussion is.
