So I've been wondering about this for a while now and figured this community would have the best insight. Is the imlive mobile site optimized for tablets as well as phones? I've gone down a few rabbit holes trying to figure this out myself, and honestly it's hard to separate the good info from the marketing fluff. Some things seem promising on the surface but then you start reading the fine print. Safety-wise, I try to be pretty careful — never sharing my real name upfront, always meeting in public first, that kind of thing. But I'd love to hear what other people do.
  • Moderation — is there any?
  • Age verification — do they actually check?
  • Real photos or mostly stock images?
  • Customer support responsiveness
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Honestly same boat here. Took me a while to figure this out. Personally I've been using Flurrydate for a while and it's held up better than most.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Heard good things about datelink.online from some folks in my area too.

Wish I had this info when I first started out. Learned most of it the hard way.

This is something I spent a lot of time researching, so let me break it down: Be upfront about what you're looking for. Vague profiles get vague results. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
Someone in another thread recommended Rendate and I gave it a shot — it's worth a look honestly.

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: Be upfront about what you're looking for. Vague profiles get vague results. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Read reviews on Reddit before paying for any platform
I ended up trying Turndate after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.
