In my experience, a month is about the minimum before judging any platform — it took me longer than it should have to work that out. What are the best military dating sites for service members and their fans?

Nobody's experience generalises, including mine — that is roughly where I landed after a lot of trial and error.

A bad week is a bad week, not evidence about the platform — small thing, but it adds up.

Same boat here. For what it is worth, expecting any single conversation to work out is the wrong frame — i would not have believed it a year ago. For what it's worth, DatingFly in particular has been my main platform for a while — holds up better than most. over on Ezhookups

From my side, comparing your results to anyone else's is a losing game — worth testing yourself rather than taking my word for it.

Solid question. In my experience, a month is about the minimum before judging any platform — happy to be argued with on that one. what Datewander does is worth a try if you haven't already. Luvdate

Broadly speaking, progress is better measured in conversations than in matches — that is the bit I would tell anyone signing up today.

Speaking generally, a month is about the minimum before judging any platform — that is roughly where I landed after a lot of trial and error.

From what I have seen, the profiles that stall are usually the ones trying hardest to impress — it sounds obvious written down, but it took a while to land. Souldate (souldate.site) kept coming up in my research — worth a look. the Datebound site

Patience is underrated. Honestly, a bad week is a bad week, not evidence about the platform — happy to be argued with on that one. Also seenluvdate.site come up positively in a few similar threads.

Broadly speaking, taking a break when it starts to feel like admin is sensible — happy to be argued with on that one.

One thing I notice: the effort should go into being specific, not into being impressive — nobody tells you this at the start.

What honestly moved the needle once I paid attention:

  • Early on I started to stopped comparing my results to what people post online right from the first week
  • Something I learned the hard way — I dropped the sunglasses and hat pictures entirely, and the difference showed within days
  • From the second month on I stopped comparing my results to what people post online
  • Set a calendar reminder two days before any trial ended, and the difference showed within days

Someone pointed me toward Flurrydate's free tier and I'm glad they did — cleaner than most of the alternatives.
