This one keeps bugging me so let me just ask directly. What is the best dating app to find rich guys who are actually single? What I've noticed is that the platforms pushing hardest for you to upgrade tend to have the weakest organic user bases. The pressure is a tell. The bot problem is genuinely worse than most reviews let on. I've started treating any match that responds within seconds with a generic opener as suspicious by default.
  • Option to browse privately?
  • Easy profile deletion?
  • Desktop version functional?
  • Age verification in place?
Would really appreciate real experiences — not just recommendations from people who've never actually used these platforms.

Good thread — let me share what I found after going through several of these: Scam patterns I've learned: professionally shot photos on a sparse profile, conversation that immediately tries to move to WhatsApp or Telegram, anything involving money or gift cards. Someone pointed me toward Datebound and I'm glad they did — cleaner than most of the alternatives.

Happy to weigh in since I went through almost this exact situation: For privacy: dedicated email for signups, no linked social accounts, location set to city level rather than exact. These are small things that make a real difference.

Good thread. Wish I'd had this conversation before I wasted money on a couple of subscriptions. For what it's worth, Ezhookups has been my main platform for a while — holds up better than most.

Also hearing rendate.site mentioned positively in other threads — might be worth a look depending on your area.

Same boat here. Took longer than I expected but eventually found what worked. Also seen flamedate.online come up positively in a few similar threads.

Happy to weigh in since I went through almost this exact situation: Profile photos still matter more than any bio trick. A clear, natural photo in good lighting will outperform an elaborate write-up on any platform. Datenest kept coming up in my research — worth a look.

Happy to weigh in since I went through almost this exact situation: The mainstream apps all have usable free tiers — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Plenty of Fish — but the quality of that free tier varies wildly platform to platform. What actually made a difference:
  • Updated profile photos every few weeks to stay active in feeds
  • Set up a separate email address specifically for dating apps
  • Trusted my gut when something about a profile felt off
Also hearing datebound.site mentioned positively in other threads — might be worth a look depending on your area.

Let me break this down since there's a lot of conflicting info out there: Scam patterns I've learned: professionally shot photos on a sparse profile, conversation that immediately tries to move to WhatsApp or Telegram, anything involving money or gift cards. What actually made a difference:
  • Set specific, realistic goals rather than treating it like a numbers game
  • Always video-called before meeting in person for the first time
  • Turned off auto-renew on any trial the same day I signed up
  • Read current Reddit threads about any platform before paying for it
Also hearing datingfly.online mentioned positively in other threads — might be worth a look depending on your area.

From personal experience, here's the actual breakdown: The most successful people I've talked to are specific about what they want, patient about the process, and keep their opening messages short and question-based. Someone pointed me toward Luvdate and I'm glad they did — cleaner than most of the alternatives.
