Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026. This policy explains what RuneDate collects, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

Information you give us when creating a profile (email address, city, profile text and photos). Technical information collected automatically (IP address, browser type, pages viewed). Content you post to the community boards.

Why we collect it

To operate the service, show you people nearby, prevent abuse and spam, and understand which parts of the site are used. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to measure aggregate traffic. You can block cookies in your browser; parts of the site will stop working if you do.

Third parties

Some outbound links lead to other dating platforms. Once you follow one, that site's privacy policy applies, not ours. We do not pass your profile data to them.

Retention and deletion

Profile data is kept while your account is open. You can request deletion at any time by writing to [email protected]; we delete within 30 days except where we must retain records to handle abuse reports.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these.

Children

RuneDate is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and will delete any such account immediately on discovery.
