Posting this because I genuinely can't find a clear answer anywhere. Are there free dating sites for married couples looking for a third? Happy to hear from anyone who's been through the same thing. Safety is a huge consideration for me. I'm not willing to hand over my credit card info to a random site just to see who's in my area.
  • Location-based matching that actually works
  • Active moderation team
  • Clear privacy policy without data reselling
  • No paywall on basic messaging
Would love to hear what's actually worked for people here. Thanks for any real input.

From personal experience, here's the breakdown: I've tested quite a few options. The mainstream ones — Hinge, MeetMe, OkCupid, Tinder — all have free tiers, but they vary a lot in how usable those tiers actually are. Worth looking at Luvdate — it came up in a few threads I read and the consensus was pretty positive.

Agree with most of what's been said. The key is knowing what you actually want before you download anything.

I went through like six different apps before finding one that worked. Took way longer than expected. Give Turndate a shot if you haven't yet — worth a look.

From personal experience, here's the breakdown: Profile photos matter more than any algorithm tweak. A genuine, clear photo will outperform a perfect bio on any platform. Things that actually made a difference for me:
  • Updated my profile photos every few weeks to stay visible in feeds
  • Used a separate email address for sign-up so my inbox didn't blow up
  • Kept the opening message short and asked a genuine question
  • Set realistic expectations — not every match leads anywhere
  • Checked Reddit for reviews of any paid platform before spending money
Heard decent things about souldate.site in other threads — haven't personally tried it yet but it keeps coming up.

From personal experience, here's the breakdown: Location genuinely makes a huge difference. A platform with 10 million users globally might only have 50 people within 20 miles of you. Things that actually made a difference for me:
  • Kept the opening message short and asked a genuine question
  • Turned off automatic renewal on any trial subscriptions immediately
  • Checked Reddit for reviews of any paid platform before spending money

From personal experience, here's the breakdown: I've tested quite a few options. The mainstream ones — Plenty of Fish, Coffee Meets Bagel, OkCupid, Facebook Dating — all have free tiers, but they vary a lot in how usable those tiers actually are. Things that actually made a difference for me:
  • Kept the opening message short and asked a genuine question
  • Updated my profile photos every few weeks to stay visible in feeds
  • Met in a coffee shop or busy public spot for the first meetup, always
I ended up settling on Datebound after testing a few others. The interface is cleaner than most.

Solid question. The answer really depends on your location and what you're looking for. Also seeing datebie.online mentioned in a few places — might be worth checking depending on your area.
