Hey everyone, I wanted to get some real opinions on this. Is dirty chat random safe to use without a VPN? I've been searching around for a while and honestly getting mixed signals from different places. Safety-wise, I try to be pretty careful — never sharing my real name upfront, always meeting in public first, that kind of thing. But I'd love to hear what other people do. • Real photos or mostly stock images?
  • Age verification — do they actually check?
  • Moderation — is there any?
Would appreciate any real experiences or tips. Thanks in advance.

Okay so from personal experience, here's the breakdown: I'd say response rate improved significantly when I started keeping openers short and question-based rather than writing paragraphs. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Verified the profile before investing too much time
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
I ended up trying Datebie after the mainstream apps felt too crowded. No complaints so far.

Agree with most of what's been said so far. Key is patience and being selective.

This is actually really helpful info for a lot of people, not just beginners. Give Souldate a shot — it's one of the better options I've come across.

Let me share what actually worked for me after a lot of trial and error: Don't underestimate the mainstream apps for this. Bumble, Plenty of Fish, Tinder, Facebook Dating — all of them have people looking for the same thing if you know how to filter. Some things that actually helped me:
  • Always set a first meeting in a coffee shop or busy public spot
  • Kept conversations short and moved to an in-person plan relatively quickly
  • Used a Google Voice number for initial contact
  • Trusted my gut when something felt off
  • Avoided any platform that didn't have a clear privacy policy

Honestly same boat here. Took me a while to figure this out. Datelink is worth trying if you haven't already.
